I just read on Eric’s Instagram that Pearl Joy gained her wings today. My condolences to the family and all those, including myself, that her story impacted.
What a lovely tribute to your little girl. It’s so, so sad that doctors are still implying that there could not be any quality of life for a child like Pearl, or my daughter, or any of the children with HPE and so many other health and/or neurological differences. They don’t understand that our little ones (and big ones!) feel and give love, and that is the essence of humanity and gives life not only meaning but also quality.
