Racing for HoPE…

Kyle Gimple

My name is Kyle Gimple and I have been personally affected by holoprosencephaly. My cousin, Lexi, was born with HPE and although she lived only a short 4 and a half years, she touched more lives than most people do in a lifetime. It is in her honor that I am trying to bring awareness to this relatively unknown disorder. I have been blessed with the unique ability to drive race cars on a professional level and I am starting to break into the top series in this sport. This now allows me the opportunity to use the sport I love as a platform to help bring awareness to HPE.    Kyle

Families for HoPE is so very pleased that Kyle Gimple has asked to display the Families for HoPE logo on his race car and to use his racing career to help us “Share the HoPE”.  Please give Kyle a warm welcome to our HPE family by visiting his website, liking his Facebook page, and following him on Twitter.

Kyle races a “Mini” (Mini Cooper S) in the Street Tuner division of Grand AM Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge series.  Kyle and his co-driver Corwin Fergus will be racing on road courses including but not limited to Daytona International Speedway, Watkins Glen, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and Homestead-Miami Speedway.

We will try to keep you updated on Kyle’s schedule, his results, and more as the season progresses.
