Halloween, the day my little CharlieDawn can be someone else for a few tiny hours, or is it really for me? My dream for everyone around us not to notice all her extra pieces and parts she must have to just survive. It’s the day where most people can not help but to stop and say hi, admire her beauty and smile and say wow best costume of the night. It’s the one night they didn’t notice her special needs. For me I held onto a bit of normal, no questions, no one making eye contact and quickly looking away. People saw my daughter as perfect, they way I see her.
Happy Halloween from the HoPE children
